There it is, the open valley with the sun's golden honey shining upon the green tinted grass. She stands there in the valley with her hair down and her voice as beautiful as the birds that sing. She seems to be singing an old tune by the elder, Bosa Longsot. Oh, I am truly blessed by an angelic grace to have the privilege to just hear her sweet voice. I just hope these blossoms will do her some good.

"Shades of Mike Oldfield."

date: May 10, 2008

This piece of music reminds me rather strongly of parts of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells series, which is a good thing. Listening to this song brings to mind old memories and reminds me of the events that were occurring while I was first listening to Oldfield's work, quite a few years ago now. ^_^

Incidentally, just to add a final note in contrast to the reviewer below me, I believe you should feel free to add whatever descriptions you like to your work. Anybody who will tell somebody else how they "should" listen to music demonstrates a marked lack of understanding of what music actually is, and why we have it.

"Nice"

Some interesting uses of modes. Most of the modal snippets were too small for me to bother analyzing and identifying, but they were used very well. The dynamic level is a little too constant sometimes, and romantic-style music really isn't my taste, but it was nice.

As an unimportant side note, I think the descriptions that you add to some of the pieces give people something to base their perception of the music on, which isn't how music should be listened to when unaccompanied by visuals. But that's just what I think... so...

"Just... wow."

It's me again, writing a review for your music once more. This one, I believe, is one of you best works. I like how you incorporated the guitar, instead of using the strings for an intro. Great blend of instruments, and might I add, AMAZING! Please submit more work soon, I love your music.

"Incredible"

date: March 24, 2008

I love your work, but this piece was really incredible.
I started dreaming in front of my computer for hours when i heard this music which reminded me of peaceful times, the meadows... It's really poetic and brings beatitude to my ears.

i would have given it a 11 out of 10 if it had been possible!

Author's Response:

Thank you, friend. If I could tell you stories of the past, I would. But for now, just keep dreaming of a peaceful life.
