LONG REVIEW FOR SHORT SONG! LOLZ!!!

There are some things here that could work really well if redone. I understand the track was only done out of boredom but you could probably take it a little further. Have you heard Geier Solar? Because it sounds to me like the bass/rhythm your going for is inspired by that, though it's just a far fetched hunch that's probably very wrong. lol.

In any-case, I'd say that this track needs a little more time. The bass drum sounds awful, and the snare could be a little fuller. The cymbals are a little too splashy. I'd recommend sticking to a 16th-32nd note hi hat rhythm. Avoid crashes unless you're going for a more hardcore song. They might be thin, but they're very much there and I don't enjoy them. The synth pad thing playing the 16th notes sounds great. The bass doesn't sound bad, but I think there's something going on that's taking away from that... not sure.

Really, go onto myspace music and search Geier. He'll be the second guy on there. I don't know why, but his track just reminds me of a more complete version of this track. Like, if you could refine your sound, I think you could one day be as good as that. Mind you, he also used to be a New grounds regular ;)

For the track, I'm giving you an 8 for the following reasons...

-This was clearly not you at your creative max. A track made purely out of boredom is a track that doesn't accurately represent the skill level of the creator.

-Some of the elements in the track don't work to accent other elements. It all just falls in and becomes a messy sound.

-The drums. They sound bad.

-This track is very creative. I swear, it's almost as if some of the things I don't like about this track, also become some of things I do like about this track after having listened to it loop like 500 times :P

-The pads/synths/ whatever is the atmosphere behind the bass sounds great.

-I love that morphing bass! RAWR!

Hmm, downloaded, reviewed and a five to off set those low votes. Keep making tracks, keep experimenting. Also keep in mind that I do actually listen to you, so I know what you sound like in your creative prime. I have about 8 tracks of yours in my iTunes. I have a feeling that you'll be gold one day.

Pretty nice bass sound too, a lil odd but its fitting the song well.
