I made this while bored at college. i just wanted a busy, dirty beat with a grotty synth over it. i was in a wierd mood. anyway, the happy synth bit nearer the end was a minor bright point in my mind at the time, sacrificed pretty quickly for a return to the dirt. hope you like it!

A little distorted.
This piece is overall a little messy and distorted. You've got some nice ideas in here, but I think you've maybe gone a little far with the filth. It's difficult to get right, but the best sounding filthy dnb tracks have great clarity.
The drums are pretty good, but a little heavy in the mix. It's also a nice bass line, just a little over powering.
Keep working on this stuff man, i'm sure you'll bring out a tune in no time.

Cheers man. Sorry i took so long to get back. Yeh, this was from my 'the dirtier the better' phase. I usually keep cleaner beats on my DnB tracks now, with more accurate and tuneful basslines. Check out my new tune, Microchef. I think you might like it ;)
