I don't know what to say, but as your first submission, stay in the same octave, but don't use something so piercing to the ear unless there is a midrange to flatten it out

Ouch

Way way to monotone I could play something better over a 56k dial up modem speaker. But don't take that to heart it simply means you should add more instruments at different sound ranges so that you get a much fuller sound.
