Fisherman's interpretation

Share

Since I consider myself a "too lazy to consider more than a light hobby" artist, I joined in a group of friends which like to draw and we went to Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) in Curitiba, Brazil, where I currently reside. Its main exhibit was a series of paintings and sketches made by Di Cavalcanti. We picked one that we liked and sketched it in "our vision". Well, for those who saw my other drawings, the result is not that surprising.

I'm particularly not proud of this one, actually, kinda embarrasses me, but I thought i could give a shot posting here, after all, some outside info is always nice AND almost no one actually end up in my profile and my drawings here, hahaha.

Feel free to criticize. Just remember it's not intended to be anything professional, I had 8 colored pencils for this. Yeah.

Oh, right. The original is called "Pescadores voltando do trabalho" - "Fishermans returning from work" (free translation) and it is made with nanquim in "dry paper". (I wonder what is the difference from plain paper...)
