This started out as playing around with grey scales and multiply layers, but ended as drawing of a giant golem in a world me and a friend made up.

Edit: I upped the contrast and re-uploaded (Wow this drawing is unpopular sugestions?)

Definitely needs some edits, but is overall a well drawn piece of art. Even if you're not the best you have to start somewhere and here's the best place to get advice :)

This is not bad, but you are severely lacking contrast. Take this into your image manip program, add an overlay layer or a dodge layer (overlay recommended) and hit the (what I'm assuming is) lava with some really bright red or pink. That'll boost up the contrast of the piece. After that you can paint over the highlights on the chest muscles and such, and give the whole drawing a much more defined feel.

It's supposed to look huge and kinda in the distance, but with it being the focus of the drawing I probably just mucked it up. I've no idea how to draw lava, but I'll give it a bit more effort. Thanks for the helpful comment. I'll probably reup this with some fixes.
Edit: I did exactly what you proposed

It's mediocre but maybe reduce the clouding a bit.

yahuwa responds:

I did so, and made many other changes.
