Different ways to express art are all welcome, it depends a lot on the artist, thus far, i've enjoyed what you've shared and i'd be glad to see more of your art, regardless of what specific method was used for it. Carry on! Thank you for sharing!
For those who did not know this about me, I go to a school of fine arts where we learn after the old dutch masters. We cultivate techniques that have made their works last for ages & we use them for today's art. The school is based on shapes of shadows & a 5 value system, but we study other methods such sight size. Anyways, I paint still lifes & portraits more than I draw digital stylized pinups anymore & I wanted to share a quick head study with you.
I tried doing the tri colour method that Robert Liberace has developed after the old masters. I used pitt pastel & barell thins on bfk reeves paper with a warm watercolor wash. This was one sitting 2 hours. We usually get three sittings with a model.
Anyways, if anyone is at all interested I would be happy to post some of my paintings. If not, I apologize for the interruption & will return to my regular pinup posting program!

Thanks for the kind words, really brightened up my day! I'm always nervous about posting a more traditional piece.
Very good. Fades slowly out of the paper. Beautiful.
