Gorgeous, I like the sharpened anatomy and subdued colors.

I envy your skills. :)

Interesting.
And like all great and well captured muses, I want to know more about her. What is she thinking?
My favourite part of this piece is the unique way you showed her proportions i.e the shading highlighting her muscles and bones like the cheekbones and the shoulders, her lips, nose, eyes, her brow and her eyelashes are very good too, the angle of the chin is especially interesting as is the neck it's like she's tilting her head up or holding it high but she isn't looking up at anything, her expression is hard to read it looks calm but not a particularly peaceful kind of calm, the shading makes her eyes look slightly tired or resigned but at the same time they appear watchful... like she's waiting for something. (?)
Her neck is a biiiiiiiit thin but that also adds to the over all feel of the piece and doesn't really look wrong despite this and the fact that it seems to flow into a shoulder the way a femur does to a knee, which is wrong and strikes discord when i see it but at the same time I somehow still like that about it?!
well, her whole figure does look quite cool helped by the simple chill-colored background so i suppose it classifies as good abstract art then seeing as it doesn't quite fit but kinda still works lol

I reeeeally like how her hairpiece contrasts so sharply with the rest of her- her body (that we can see), her face and features, ect. the way it curves and stands- i really love it but i love even more the fact that you didn't neglect keeping the muse the true muse by making it stand out too much, keeping the colors slightly sedated like the rest of the piece, especially the gem which could have ruined it having such an ornate design complimenting it. You managed to keep the beauty of the hair barrette while still balancing it with the whole.

My only real full on nitpick is the hair.
I do like it at the roots at the top of her forehead but the bun and the hair straggling down just could have been done better, I can clearly see that there are meant to be strands loose and that it's not meant to be perfect but aside from the which DOES work it's just not working for me personally.
For one thing the semi circle of hair closest to the nape of her neck (not tied up completely) is way too high up although it does compliment the outline and shadows at the back of her neck hair doesnt really go like that when it's pulled up especially when it's a semi-loose tie like the one you've got on her. Also her ear is a bit too small but i don't really mind that, some people have pretty small ears so it's plausible besides it wouldnt work if it was really big now would it lol :D
But there are far more good things to say about this piece than the small few flaws i mentioned and I really do like it, it got me thinking and even the little flaws that are in it give it character.
After all, sometimes photo like super realistic drawings aren't nearly as interesting as the quirky avante garde ones even though this piece is not what i'd call avante garde, (^_ ^')

I really do like it so i'm gonna give it 5 stars in both comment and rating! Keep up the good work I wanna see more!!!!!!!!!
