In the Skyward Sword Prequel manga (you can read it here: http://www.zeldainformer.com/news/read-the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword-manga-from-hyrule-historia-right-now ), Link dies in the old land after his battle against Demise and is later found back by Hylia. I imagined what could have happened then. Maybe she brought him in some secret place where she could mourn the death of her lover and watch over his body before to disappear with him. Afterall she’s the only one that could take care of the burial, seeing that the others were sent to the sky.

I know that her dress is particularly long but it is wanted, it’s like a magical shroud in which she wraps Link slowly…
