Pirates on the edge of world

This started as a matte painting but I decided to sacrifice some of it's photorealism for fanstasy feel (and I'm not skilled enough to get both at the same time :( )

This is simply amazing

I love how you can make the world they're in seem so immense just through one picture. Very good work .

voxmortemcg responds:

thank you very much!

Gorgeous

They light beautifully contrasts the the clouds and the storm in the distance is fantastic looking. The ship and sea below are also perfect. Really, really well done my friend.

Sincerely,

~Crusher

thanks! I appreciate that

Amazing

Brilliant.
I like the design of the ships.
The clouds look really good, especially the pink colour you gave it, just like real sunlight does.
And the way you made the sunlight reflect on the water, it almost looks real...

Very good job.

wow.

I wish i could draw this good. Even thought it is done on the computer. This is absolutely amazing.

voxmortemcg responds:

what's wrong with computer arts? they're different but people still have to work hard to get job done. We don't have big red button with set of options to create stuff (sorry if it sounds aggressive, no attack intended)

and thanks!

wow nice

i love it. beautiful and it feels like a story comes along with it. keep it up.

voxmortemcg responds:
