This is a painting I did as a christmas gift for my girlfriend, Inès!
Between 12 and 15 hours of painting, you may see the timelapse video here:

I truly love cityscapes. It makes you notice all the minor details when you're in the process of drawing it and when you finish it, you really come to appreciate all the little things we look over in a regular day. This to me looks like somewhere it Italy, some bustling coastal village where the people greet you with a smile. I would love to visit some of these places, but I suppose I'll have to be content with photos and these great renditions, such as yours here, until the day I can venture out beyond these borders. I am going to Germany in the near future, so I'm hoping to get inspiration for a cityscapes in towns like this, rich in culture, and phantasmal to admire. Thank you deeply for this great work of art, the detail, reiterating myself here xD, is stunning.
Sincerely,
The Doctor

well Vonschilppe, i live in a small town and this made me appreciate my household and not having it be another fish in the sea. im at a military school right now and my parrents just sold the house i grew up in. i have not been home in 6 months and when i finally go home im going to be in a new home. this peice made me feel importent. it gives me hope for every place that we live in will not be the same but we still call it home. i loved the use of light in the house and the plants in the windows. the general fact that this piece is showing so much in detail draws my attention to every single point. this is rare in art in this modern society without making somone's attention to a single point and it having no impact. from what i have seen your vision is inspiring. you are a true master of the paint brush.
My, thank you very much for that!!
