I was thinking back to the days when I was a Wiccan (well, was loosely one, since I was too young to have a complete understanding of the religion), when I came up with this. I wanted to exhibit something from nature (the deer's head), but to not make it clear whether it was alive or dead. I wanted to show what came from the deer, a new life form. The surroundings, I wated to emphasize as being a place of symbols, thus the many that are on the walls. The black mass that's pushing down symbolizes restraint and condemnation, while the bright colors that oppose it symbolize unity, as there are many more shades of it. The spirit next to the deer's creation is the mentor, and the turtle to the left is the guardian. I could go on trying to explain, but I think you get the picture, if you've read all what I've written.
