This was in my 'not finished' folder for.. a long time. Months. Maybe even a year.
Anyway.
It started as a sketch

I don't know how many hours this took me... I'm sure my videos know. I'm gonna go with. Lots.
I did not use any reference other than my own sketch as a base in which I referred to about 200 images of koi fish to attempt to get a believable shape.
I started this with the intend to vector which is why her hair is solid. I ended up liking it and figured I would leave it that way. Cuz I can.

not many times do i fall in love with a picture but this is wonderful, you can see the mass amount of love you put into this work.

I truly did put a lot into this piece. I've been trying to break my own barriers. Digital painting is something I enjoy and would love to be faster at... thus learning 'more' is required. This is something that I'm proud and assured of, I know it's showing my growth.
