Back in high school I knew a girl. She stayed to herself every day. Nobody ever seemed to notice her. One day i sat next to her during break. I tried to start a conversation. She stayed silent trying to ignore me for the first few days however she began to open up. Telling me about how she has moved around from school to school. her mother had passed away when she was young and her brother a few years before she made it to this school.

One day she was more silent than she normally was. face buried in the not so interesting math book. she refused to respond to me all together. As the class began i noticed something out of the corner of my eye. She was bleeding. the blood was dripping out of her black hoodie creating a puddle on the floor. worried about her i grabbed her hand and lead her straight to the nurses office. she jerked away screaming " No he will kill me!". That was when I had heard the rest of the story. After her mother had died, Dear ol dad would take his anger out on her and her baby brother. He would grab take her tie her down beat and rape her over and over till he would eventually pass out from exhaustion on top of her. "He always made sure never to hit the face." she told me, " People would notice scars then.". After that day she had vanished. No trace of her anywhere.
