Adam's rant: After Portal 2 came out, I made far too many references to science. Not in a specific sense either, I just threaded the word inelegantly into normal conversations. Luckily, Carlos doesn't do that with art because it was pretty obnoxious when I did it.

The fun part about friendships is that getting along with someone doesn't mean that you need to actually share the same interests. At least, not completely, sharing some interests does help a little in forming and maintaining a friendship.

Well, probably, I'm not an expert on these matters. Still, I guess it works out in the end, Carlos has no interest in Portal and I couldn't convince him to try it out. If I had been successful, then it might mean that he'd be able to make me enjoy Britney Spears.

As someone who does not particularly enjoy pop music, I'm not sure I'm willing to make that sacrifice in order to maintain a friendship.
