Mmmmmm the smell of real life in one drawing. Yeah a lot of the birds are eating their skinny brother or sister so that the others survive. That is the life sad but true.

Ever see hatchlings fall out of a nest? They make a soggy egg splat sound depending on how far they fall. Cats usually eat them, but i'm pretty sure birds can eat each other. if cats, dogs, people, etc can birds can too.
15x22 watercolor. This will more likely be in the bfa show november.
Very nice painting and interesting vision on the lifecycle of birds, but I was wondering.. Why do all the birds you draw have human-like heads?
