I think the proportions of the creator and the positioning of it's body is completely fine. Especially since its a monster. It shouldn't have a perfectly proportional or normal feature.

Completely nonsensical like horror should be. Whys blood pouring from its body? Why is there more blood on the floor than their is most likely in its body?

Who cares? You wouldn't be sticking around to find out.

I would really like to know the backstory to this picture. This creature (or plant) is standing in a pool of its own blood. It's feet look like roots so I'm guessing that this thing is soaking up its own blood and bleeding it bad out. I don't know if the person's review below me is correct, but when looking at art like this, people seem to find it to have deeper meaning. The name Venus has been associated historically with beauty and honestly, the main body itself is not bad looking yet they are the only things that are confined by string. I'm not really sure what to think, but I like art that gets me to think. Good job.

TheN0mad responds:

as i told invaderatomis, there is not much to tell really " all in the eye of the beholder" as it were, artwork is at its best when it is ambiguous, when it gets people to think and feel things, but not just one thing.. a painting of a mountain is nice... but it will only ever show you a mountain. a painting of a thought or idea can show you much more and it will never show the same thing to any one person, that, at least in my mind, is true beauty

Not bad over all, and the proportions are that off except on the head, um horns? i guess is what those are. Also the belly button is weird. Are you trying to say anything with this, if so and i am right about the message, then; you use the base of the venus de milo to represent true art, the head to represent modern changes to true art while the strings and broken horn show how society demand art to conform to social trends and ignores true talent for mediocore hack work by keeping it locked away. Is there any truth to that or am i just taking one too many happy pills?

TheN0mad responds:

i generally paint without much purpose, il try to envision a thought or an idea and then visualize those things...but really in the end what i want something to represent means very little, if that's what you want it to mean then i have no right to tell you your wrong, that's how art works my friend :P

sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear
