BADFISH

Note : My camera really sucks XD

This was a painting I made in about 4 days using acrylic paint on canvas. I was inspired by the mating habits of the Deep-Sea Angler fish. Turns out, the females ( like 3 times larger than the males ) select a mate, and that male attaches himself to her UNTIL HE DIES.

Basically a parasite, kept around only to deliver constant supplies of sperm ( where do I sign up? ), the blood from the female actually pulsates through the male as well! So they share the same blood. It's actually romantic when you think about it, and get past the whole AIDS-FEST I'm sure would ensue if human beings picked up the practice.

Lol anglerfish!

As a student in marine biology, I didn't even have to read the description to get it!
Very creative idea. I think it would have been cooler if you showed one of the humans as a warped little lump to show how the males become nothing more than a mere sperm supply in the final stage of the relationship.

anyway that is good stuff. you get a cookie!

Nom Nom Nom

interesting....

Its very nice artwork considering that you took it with a piece of crap camera. when you look at it without creativity in your mind, it looks like two gay men hugging a large mutated fish as if engaging in steamy underwater sex. =[

I hope my more creative thought about this was the same as yours where the two men actually represent the male fish.......... Either way, gay or artistic it was.... uhmm.......interesting.

TheMillz responds:

Can't it be both? lol...
