One of my first attempts at freehand photo-copying pictures of war. I started it as a way to better my understanding of the feel of WWII pictures, as well as the physical attributes involved, such as the folds in their clothing, and the shading most of all.
Again, this is a pencil drawing of a photograph, and the national archives of the respective country holds the rights to the original photograph. I have simply drawn the photo. I do not want any misunderstandings there.
That aside, I plan on submitting a few more of these.

Just Pure Awesomeness
Love the detail on this picture. The shading is phenomenal and the expressions are beautiful. The pull off the mood of this picture and really make it stand out and touch the hearts of the viewers.

Sat for an hour examining every detail
This is amazing! What wonders a simple pencil and perspicacious eyes can make, it's just.. can't find adequate words to describe it. :)

i know people are gonna hate me for this but
the facial features to me are not as realistic to seem life like not the hands in the drawing but other then that the details are really good
