My submission for Jazza's TaleTellers August Challenge of the Month. The image depicts Fumito Ueda, creator of the classic PS2 game "Shadow of the Colossus", among his majestic colossi. It took me a little over a week, but it was worth it to get the beautiful creatures that populate my favorite game of all time together with the man who brought them to life. Getting all 16 colossi into a single cohesive image was a challenge, but an extremely fun one at that. The relative scale of each colossus is also fairly faithful to the game. I like how all the flat black creates dimension in the colossi and blends them into the shadows. I like how it turned out, but it's not my decision whether or not it's good enough to win the challenge.
