This was initially a character I had drawn up back in 2012; I decided it was time to revamp the design and give it a different name as well (original name was Axel)

The art isn't "bad" but it could be improved, it is kind of plain. Maybe you could add some eyes to spice it up. The colors are also pretty bright, I would recommend either just making a whole thing a tad darker, and making the shadows more potent to help the eye identify the shape of the character more easily.
