Finished it after two days of hard work, I realize I wasn't supposed to do an original character but fuck it this little guy is my hero.
I tried a new style.

Edit: Fixed a previous Issue with his antenna and I added the purple glow to his face as ZombieMonkey suggested. And I changed the "2012" to a 2013" lol oops

For a sec I really thought it was a green guy that had visible dizzy graphics around his head. Then noticed that was a ray gun, hehe. Well I fell silly. The shading was ideal but cant help that it might of been to much that it hides the character to far in the background. Unless you were trying to make the viewer really concentrate on the ray gun. But its good none the less.
