I've been trying to focus on environments this week, but unfortunately today I've been really short for time so I decided to experiment with something a bit more quick and abstract. I really love painting shapes with water, then dropping in ink to see it move around and create lovely effects, so today's piece is a simple, abstract cat created with that method. Though it was quick, I think the result is really pretty and effective, and a good addition to the variety of styles and techniques I've been trying this inktober. For this piece I just used water and India ink. Any helpful feedback would be great, even though this is a really simple one. :)
I created a Youtube video of last week's inktober pieces, so if you were interested in checking it out that would be much appreciated :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icqh3BX12N0
Thank you for checking out this little piece! :D
