I dig how it makes you want exposition that isn't there. My mind goes to Dark Souls because things feel bleak, and the slain character looks a bit like Ciaran. Maybe the second character's sword looks out of place with the way everything else is drawn. I'd rather it be a quick swipe of a brush or something. That's just me though.
