you know i dont even remember when this one was
maybe inspired by little big planet?
or that god awful 9,nine, tim burton movie.
I like (or it's just me) how it seems to be that the sack boy is sitting on the edge of a cliff like structure, I feel like maybe it's dangling it's feet into a well, some crevice\abyss in the earth. such an odd dark moody feeling I'm feeling here.
did you purposely make subtle shapes n faces in the art? for example right below the thing's feet seems to me to be a one-two horned masked glowy eye critter.
and above the white horizontal directioned curvy line in bottom left corner seems to me to be what could either be a car, the car headlights, something with glowy eyes\glasses , something akin to the stabby guy from futurama
the right side of the character has some weird yellow eyed mejoras mask shaped thing goin on there, and to the left of the character a red eyed... crow thing.
if none of those were purposely added (accidentally looking like it due to shading or however you made this art) it is done well nonetheless!

there was a period in my drawings where i focused less on backgrounds and hunted for textures to overlay, i did try to make subtle face shapes - and i picked a macro rice texture to accentuate the kind of pimply fiery brush strokes i had done already. i wanted something unsettling again, but mostly because i was trying and failing to recapture the creepiness in the first picture i uploaded here. its actually a scarecrow on a branch, but i wanted to make it clear that it is artificial, and it does sorta look burlap-y so i titled it that. i wasn't happy with it at the time, it felt cheap, but now that i dont use stock textures anymore i like looking at it as an experiment.
mmmyeah. sleeping is overrated
