as his foster mother sits spindling away, our young hero daydreams of adventures far from his underground cove of earthy seclusion and safety

Wow, this was a wonderfully detailed picture! It really is a very unique scenario. I don't know why a giant beetle is caring for a monkey. I didn't even notice those were giant maggots below! Or maybe that's just a really small monkey. That is pretty creepy.

You got the details down wonderfully. I don't know what the "marm" part means. I think those bluish green things are mushrooms. It's weird to see such innocence in something so, well, unattractive. It's a very impressive picture.

sucho responds:

its an old way of saying "ma'am" i think i read it alot in Dickens when i was a kid and it just feels like a good title for an old heavily-child-laden mother.

>:D!!

What's that blue stuff?? Must be larva scat. :3

sucho responds:

yes, that grows GLOWY MUSHROOMS

Bugs!

I like them.

sucho responds:

do jawallabies eat bugs?

Confusing really

You've managed to do it again mate, a delicate blend of the absurd, hideous and yet strangely beautiful. Whether it's a metaphor or just absolutely messed up picture put to allegorical paper.

All in all, you know how to delve deep into the psyche and just generally fuck with our base emotions- love, fear, and just general weird.

Congrats.

sucho responds:

thats not saying anything, thats saying something! :D

all this in photo shop

i can't believe it.

sucho responds:

without it, i am nothing really.
