Xavier standing at the end of one of the many runways on the air base in the sky. Im kind of backtracking here, going from Mouse World to the later Highflyers, but I always liked drawing Xavier. This piece actually freaks me out a bit, considering there are no safety rails on a runway I would be too scared to go within 10 feet of the edge let alone 3 as shown here. But, meh. CLOUDS ARE SO TOUGH TO PAINT IN MICROSOFT! But the most difficult part of this was finding the color corrections for the color uniform, it still looks off to me but I just gave up :P I hope you guys can tell that that big pink thing is a Thunderhead cloud, lol.

And yes the title is from Snow Patrol.

Beautiful

Done in microsoft paint or not, it's still remarkable!! You are phenomenal at shading, and the colors are absolutely astonishing. You have given the horse a well thawed out look with a military suit on that looks very realistic. He seems as if he is ready for battle. I also love the twilight background it is beautiful!

StarwolfTsuname responds:

Thank you very much for the comment! It was hard reaching that level of equilibrium between the figure and the background. heh spent at least a half hour color hunting for the proper tones of the uniform in the sunset. man I hope I never have to go through that again XD

Well composed

I wasn't going to give you a 10/10 until I read you done it in MS paint. in which to create a fully composed piece of art is within a skill of its own.
Keep it up.

StarwolfTsuname responds:

Heh thanks :3 Yeah it would be considered pretty crappy otherwise but what can you do when you dont have other good programs right?

yep

ok great
