Ever wondered how Halloween has come to be? Historically, it is linked to the old Celtic festival of "Samhain" (summers end) which marked the end of summer. People held feasts to honour the departing of souls from our realm and pray for their acceptance to life in the worlds beyond. Millenia later as the world started globalising, the festivity spread and the true purpose of it was forgotten. People stopped praying for the souls and their safe passage, and considered it as nothing more than just an occasion to dress up. This enraged the masters of the world beyond.
It was decided that a creature would be sent to our world each Halloween and would take one ignorant of traditions soul as tax for the forgotten prayers, The Grimataur.
