Awesome
Much better than I could ever draw, I also love the comic book style, the explosion is awesome, I really cant draw explosions either. Or fire. If you are going to answer this comment then why did the ship explode? I Just want to know lol.

this was actually from a comic.
In the comic deadpool blew up the outside of a spaceship.
He set c4 charges around the armor.
Interesting.
This is good work with Pen and ink. I love the comic-book style, and how some of the picture leaks out of the frame (one of the best conventions of comics). However like J-qb said in your thread, it's difficult to distinguish the different shapes.
This is something I've struggled with myself - you can see evidence of that in one of my pen drawings. My advice to you is (I've recently tried this and it works perfectly) use thiner lines and lighter shading in the distance, then thicker lines and more dense shading in the foreground. This helps set up the perspective. In real life, we notice that he further something gets away, the less detail we see.
Give it a try, I look forward to how your art progresses. =)
thanks
will do : )
