Nice
I noticed you may have scanned in the hairy dude because of the white dots around him besides the few minor flawes, it's a beautiful piece of art.;)

Yeah. The piece was actually two illustrations I merged into one. I liked how my first illustration of Lazengann turned out so I drew Genome after. I didn't completely clean the image since this request had a tight deadline and the requestee wanted it done ASAP. I'm not normally sloppy, but I should try to clean up my works more often >_<
The lineart and WIP of it is here in my Cosmic Break art thread.

I like it XD
I don't know what TTGL is but the Mecha thingy reminds me a ton of Evangelion. But yeah I still like the character designs. Umm lets see critique. The backgrounds looks out of place with the rest of the drawing and the lineArt seems a tad bit sloppy. And there is also some white dots around the hairy dude that could be fixed. But yeah the drawing as a whole is nicely done XD. I do like it. Good job man XD
I was trying to emulate one of the Parallel Works style of the series. And this particular anime is done by Gainax. Yeah I just noticed the white spots on the larger resolution, but I shrunk it down for the requestee on another board I frequent so they weren't noticeable. Again I appreciate your critiques. It helps encourages this old man who gave up drawing for close to a decade.
I highly suggest watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. The background will make sense once you watch it, and why the antagonist Lord Genome is referred to as the Spiral/Helix King.
YEESS!!!!
How Ironic on how I was watching Gurren Lagann today. I havent gotten back up to the helix king yet. But he is quite the badass!
Oh Genome gets more epic, especially in the extended parts of the TTGL movies. Thank you for the rating.
