The steel rebar hanging from the edge of the broken road becomes very convincing exposed blood vessels.

This actually reminds me of a trick my dad taught me involving a steak knife, a flat, non-motile hard surface, and your wrist.

Cerebral, Frightening

This illustration pulls off a tough balancing act. It is supremely detailed, but also has a dominantly mysterious feel to it at the same time. It reminded me of a really surreal dream I had years ago, but that I still remember like yesterday. Really great piece of artwork overall. Definite favorite.
