One of my older paintings (Oil on canvas, March 2007, damn does time fly?), first in a series I call "Chroma".
My Chroma paintings were paintings specifically created to experiment with unorthodox or rare color-schemes. In this case, I tried using blue, green, and yellow, (which I hadn't used before, and have yet to see someone use in this way( and I think it worked out pretty well.
The subject itself is wholly of my imagination - that of a bridge over a bottomless, yet bright abyss leading to a castle (in the asian style typical of my designs) under a mysterious sky. I had meant to have the sky far more stylized and full of strokes, but I think this worked out ok.
It is old, but any feedback is welcome. Hope you like it. More to come.
