That is true about the first you study anatomy you have to study the bones and other part of the body. But, besides that i have been trying to draw bones for awhile now and i can't seem to finish the job nicely. But, i love how you drew the bones.

You dont need to read all text below =^.^=
Well, for my the biggest aid and source in studying is now variety. I'll try to explain.
For example on bones. I take different sources for the begining.
1 - Some medical anatomy pictures with whole skeleton and interesting for me single parts. By interesting i mean more coplex - hardest parts. (it helps me to understand basics)
2 - I search art of other artists in same thematic. I try to pick up differences styles. Frome cartoony to the most realistic. And ofcourse a bunch of photos. The goal is - to see how people may interpret same thing. Second goal is - to look on one thing in diffrent angles, lights.
3 - make skeletons from peoples ^^ I take photos of people and try to see how bones move. (it forced me to think about "how to?")
Same for everything. Only sources changes. And lot of practice of course. And after i make my visual library, i start to make things frome imagination.
And a big secret - i start to LEARN anatomy afer i remember simple rules for human body drawings. Cuz for me anatomy (any complex knowledge) is a third source. The firs one is gesture and the second is a ref study. Only then i can understand, what all those books talking about ))
PS
sorry for annoying post
dem bones
nice timing for this, since its halloween and all ^^
