Just a suggestion....

when taking photos of paintings (especially oil paintings) point the flash in the opposite direction. light will still get to the painting, but will be much softer.

if you cant turn your flash, a bit of stocking streched over it will also work :)

now, as for the painting it- beautiful. cant wait to see more of your woks.

Rikimaru-Azlar responds:

That's great advice. Thanks for positive commentary :D

regardless of photography skills

favorited.

Rikimaru-Azlar responds:

thanks alot dude

A poor photograph of the original piece.

I think you need to play with the lighting in your room before you spoil any more of your work. It's hard to see the detail in the photograph you took.

Just in case that was the point, I think that it's still difficult to discern what and who is in bed next to the main subject.

Rikimaru-Azlar responds:

Very true - better photo needed. Didn't show full image in all its glory.

He doesn't have nipples?
I wish you took this pic head-on, so we could see it properly..

Rikimaru-Azlar responds:

Touche! He is without nipples! Thought it would be a bit more anime like that. Head on? Like a shot from the front? I've got some more paintings in the anime style. Will submit tomorrow. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it (>_<)
