referring to the comment below.. i can only imagine how hard it was with that charcoal!! that is what i draw with and u re right, it travels everywhere.. but in my opinion it gives art a wonderful finished look like the statue in the above picture. wonderful. reminds me of a Demi-God. :)

Is that a drawing or a statue? This is really good and every thing looks very distinguished. You have great preportion in your work. It looks like a real photo! You can even see the scales on the python! How do you get that reflective shine and at the same time keep that nice tone? I hope you will be making more.

thank you for your kind words! In this piece I used charcoal pencils both white and black and some ebony and blended them together, the hardest part was probably getting the white spots clean and keeping them white because charcoal tends to travel to all areas of the piece and it was a real challenge.
