What is this? Its an alien life form. well, theres a person in there too obviously. I imagined they would live in clusters in a mossy patch on the ground, looking something like a crab/starfish covered in ''moss'' and are primarily a plant. When a large animal walked over the cluster, it would get swarmed by the group which proceed to attach themselves over the whole body and bind with it. Initially there would be some kind of struggle over which creature gets what part of the body (the strongest getting the chest area with the largest blood supply.) Once the nervous systems are all connected as one, they use the humans eyes to see in a different spectrum of light from their less sophisticated eyes. they act instinctively to adapt their frame and begin forming these large bony spines. The spines would act as an embryonic ( or seed ) injector into the corpses of other large animals which the symbiote would try to kill. After some time the new generation would emerge. What would happen if someone were injected while alive? who knows, maybe Ridley scott has some ideas lol.

This was somewhat of an experiment, drawn very roughly in pen and about the size of your hand, then scanned in and has spent some time having colour added in a second layer.
