The drawing style is pretty good. (Some people mistake a simple style for an advanced one that's sloppy. I don't know if you draw skeletons for your figures or not, but you should look into proportions and figure drawing if you want to hone your craft.)
Only two things that are against my personal preference: the water, and his skin (which I feel should be a tone or two darker.) This doesn't detract from the piece, that's just what I'd do differently if I were to replicate it.

Jai Quan, my Korra era Waterbender, who participates in Bro bending matches in Republic City.
Although being Grandson to Lee Wu, Jai is carefree, relaxed, lazy and easy going. his waterbending style is more akin to a firebender, powerful and fierce strides, instead of natural flowing strokes, despite this he makes his way as an accomplished Pro Bender, marking alot of his wins to his natural swiftness, he has a talent for martial arts, and often restricts his bending to the ring, especially with a rise of Equalists.
He also has a strange fascination with the masked vigilante of Republic City, Nill
As with all my Avatar Fan Characters, his naming takes from figures from The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, in this case Jai is named after the 2nd son of Sun Jian, Sun Quan, brother to Sun Ce and Sun Shangxiang. (More History, WHOOO).

I wish you could respond to replies, because I'm curious what it is about the water that you picked up on, as for the skin, I've always found it hard to replicate skin colours, but I shall take your words into consideration for future pieces.
