Months.. sure this took months!! You're lucky no teacher ganked this on you! A lot of bored kids do the same sorta doodles, but the consistency of this work is extraordinary, especially given the time period involved!! And no ink spots either (unless you inked them in). I spy a touch of black ink... What kind of pen did this? I prefer a Pilot G2 very, very fine point meself, but even that one gets a bit sloppy, if you're not careful :)
How crazy would it be to color this digitally? A most excellent piece.

Drawn in some pretty boring classes over the final months of high school.

Ha, I used a generic ballpoint pen that some college gave out for free (it was all I had at school at the time). Typically I use Pilot G2s as well though. I actually prefer the thicker points (1 mm) because they always make a bold, solid line - in this drawing you can see some areas (like the top center) that are much darker than others. But that's just my opinion.
Digital coloring would be awesome, but I have no experience at all with digital art so I wouldn't know where to start.
