This is a redo of an old digital painting.

I was 19 years old
and on my last year of university studying a bachelor of character animation

Meaning:
We are all law breakers having broken Gods laws. Having offended God our eternal creator we are sentenced to eternal death. God is just and love and because he is he must punish us as we would punish those who break our own governments laws. We are on earth given the choice to choose. It is God's common grace to give us a chance, not to give us what we deserve right away. So what can we do just waiting to undergo God's eternal wrath (Hell). We can't do anything but sin our very nature is wicked.

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus died for our sins on the cross. His worth was enough to appease the wrath of God
against us. He was the ultimate sacrifice for past and present. Will we accept this truth and humble ourselves to him or continue to do our own thing?

Trust in Christ Jesus for salvation and turn your life to his ways (repentance).
He who does not believe is condemned already. because he has not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God. [Which would be calling God a liar]

My God this is powerful. I don't see a lot of Christian art here, unless it's someone making fun of Jesus and Christians. But this is powerful and really thought provoking.

I feel like the guy on the rock that's lusting after the woman. It's nice to be reminded that that path leads to a burning hell.

And I love the peaceful image of Jesus watching in the background. He isn't shown weeping or suffering. He just watches and waits for us to make our decision. I really like that a lot.

Hopefully, I'll see more like this one.

Very nice picture.

The only thing I don't like about it is the religious message. If we are not perfect we got to suffer. And the bible is giving us an easy perfection. A goal for people who don't want to think about anything. They are just following a book like a bunch of stupid sheeps. A book wrote by normal humans who weren't perfect. So yeah... 8/10 because you're fucking good :P

Having an easy perfection is only made that way through pastors and preachers who spent too much time trying to manipulate converts to their church and not enough time reading their Bible.

No they are not following a book like a bunch of stupid sheeps, they are blindly following a persons bad interpretation (not in context) of the Bible like dumb ignorant stupid sheep who would rather not look into the truth for themselves and also not worry about the afterlife so they can be even more wicked than they are.

Look again at the painting and notice the woman in the orange shirt. She is holding a Holy Bible and preaching it but still going where all the others are.

True Christianity is more than religion
more than a stupid sinners prayer (that gives false assurance)
more than doing good
more than deceptive feelings
more than a book
and more than all the words I can say and do to try and convince people of it's truth.

art worth looking at

It's a good feeling to know that I'm not the only one on Newgrounds that still believes in the true power of god. One thing in this picture that really cot my eye was the falling parachuter which reminded me of a person who is trying to escape the rath but yet not willing to go god's way, so instead he falls.

That is such an excellent depiction of modern day society, but as you stated that faith and hope in Christ Jesus is all that will save us from such a fate and showing that distance between The Father and man is an accurate illustration of life without Christ as He is the bridge and only way to that narrow island. Glad to see this on Newgrounds. :)

Very good

The black orb sorta reminds me of the peach from james and the giant peach...
besides that I do have to agree that the creepy stick island does look a bit more lonly then one would picture heaven... also I think it would be equal tourter for someone in heaven to have to keep looking down on a bunch of people dieing enternally... and to know that you can do nothing about it from up there... but mabey i'm thinking about it to hard...

Hey I remember that movie :D No your not thinking too hard about it. I'm sure many people have thought that but they don't realize the only thing that makes a person lovable is God and what He gives.
Can you imagine how evil a person would be revealed to be if nobody loved them, and God gave them no food, shelter, water, etc. I know I can be very grumpy just from losing a few hours of sleep.
