Illustrations from the seventh and ninth pages of an as yet unpublished picture book adaptation of classic fairytale The Princess and the Pea, written by my lovely girlfriend Sophie. She had a publishing module in her second year at uni, so I happily provided the artwork for her hypothetical (for now, at least) children's publication.

Here, the Princess is put through her paces by the Queen, and sent to sleep on a pile of mattresses, under which lies the titular pea.
