Backyard-bug eats mystic dew

I drew the shape of the bug rather spontaneously but I thought HEY! the bug would still be cool if colored well! so I try my best coloring a spontaneous whipped up bug! I also thought simple art would be better to start off. anyway tell me what YOU think!!!!

It's hard to make out the figure of the bug, I know which part it is but I can't make out its anatomy or what it's doing. I recommend continuing to practice, you'll improve as you go! You have good clean lines and colors and great optimization which is something a lot of people get wrong, so keep it up :)

Thanks Jazza :) I'm gonna need a lot of practice, I really wish I had more money for better drawing supplies but I've been drawing some cool characters that I'll submit! thanks :):):):)
