I'm sure many artists can relate to this.. on another note, your facial expressions are pure genius - you can like.. you're done. Go to Face-Valhalla.
Also lol at the background people.

Thanks man! To be honest, I still feel like I need a lot of practice concerning expressions (especially in more realistic drawings), but this was good practice anyway. And ha, I was wondering if anybody noticed the background scene :p
Haha, yeah. That happens a lot since everybody took notice of mangas and animes and whatnot. Everytime I show my friends the drawings I make they just make fun of me by asking "Is that guy Naruto?"
Sorry if my english sucks, and your drawings are good. keep at it.
Jesus Christ I completely feel your pain. I HAAATE when people mistake my work for "Anime".
...Mind you, I think my style's a tad more 'sparkly-eyed' than yours, so it's ALMOST acceptable to confuse the two... >.> ALMOST...
BUT STILL AARG.
Do you have places I can follow you elsewhere by the way? Like twitter and facebook and stuffs?
Haha, thanks. I knew I wasn't the only person. Well, you can go to my comic's facebookpage: "Dork Toes (comic)". Also, there's a tumblr lately: dorktoes(dot)tumblr(dot)com.
So, that's a couple things you can follow :D No twitter though.
Heh. Eyup. Great drawings as usual, expressive faces and all convey the emotions well. Funny strip as well.
There's nothing quite as frustrating as having ones style dismissed as being (insert generic style here) by people who can't look beyond their preconceptions.
We've all been there. We've all heard the "Ah, that's just like (artist)'s work" when clearly there's no connection, neither in style nor content - but it's just that the colour scheme reminds the layman of something, and without observing said layman will just assume...
But I'm preaching to the choir here.
Well done slice-of-life autobio there.
Yes! That's exactly what I meant. Too frustrating indeed. And thanks!
