Looking at the quote in the info section, i cant help see it philosophically... Is the act of wishing for something reason enough to want to live? or how about people who doesn't know what they want? Just food for thought...
the foreboding and ominous feel of the quote really does add to the your art piece. It says alot about this work in particular so everything left unsaid is already understood.

The quote actually refers to the fact that if you can easily get what you wanted, you'll end up being bored with everything. Then of course you'll have everything but death in the end.

anyway, luv it. But how did u color it? Cuz the character looks a lot more clear than the background.
Um... I used 3 different layers. One for the outline, for the color and then for the background. Makes things easier d:
