So this is a pirate and his creature that he found hatching from a lone egg in a cave. The story is the pirate landed on this mysterious island in a world where monsters and humans lived side by side but unfortunatley there are only a few unique creatures left. However further exploring this island the pirate found an abundence of new and exciting creatures that he would soon find out they needed him more than he needed them. As a pirate, his captain ordered everyone to explore and capture the creatures for further study and if cooperable, further use. But when the captain doesn’t come back from his exploration, the crew is set out to find him unknowing there is more to the island than meets the eye.
The pirate is a chibi character inspired by Dreamwork’s Sinbad and the beast is inspired by https://www.pinterest.com/pin/430164201898407163/. The cave creature’s species have crystals and rocks inbedded in their back from years of thriving in the island’s caves and deep in the caverns give them room to grow.
