This is my entry for the August challenge of the month, I chose to do JK Rowling and her books Harry Potter, the best series of books out there, and the films are utterly incredible so this is in honour of her. I decided to make all the other elements and characters blue in order to fit with the overall magic theme, and this fit well with the stag being blue, and this gave the piece a nice flow and made all the different elements tie into each other well, as well as incorporating the blue into JKs face.

I wanted to make the other elements also blurrier than her face to make them look as if they are her imagination running wild. One important element was making the characters have some kind of interaction with the author, so I decided to make Dobby look emotionally towards her, making him almost look thankful for his creation.

And finally I wanted to give the image another subtle feature which the more dedicated Harry Potter fans would be able to spot, with the use of the feet from the map given to Potter by the Weasley Brothers, also tying the title of the piece well with the theme of the piece.
