This is my second pencil drawing of my character, Virtra. It's from my book, Shadows of Abregado-rae, which you can find the first ten chapters of... on fanfiction. You just search by author for MagicalMistressSarai... (shameless promoting)

This drawing I like very much... and I feel that it came out nicely. I like all of the shading and I like the coloration. It's pencil, graphite and colored, and I feel that it gives both a somber and dark feel to the character. I also was able to get the proportions down better in this sketch, though it does appear a bit more comic book-esque than it does actual human art representation... still I like her hair and her facial features. The face gives me more trouble than any other part of drawing. Sigh... anyhow, I love this character and cannot stop drawing it. I have dozens of sketches but I'm going to post something different next time.
