Rorshach

So this was a requested drawing on a livestream, which was pretty exciting because I drew this character back in Highschool, and I was happy to get to redraw him. I used a cross hatching brush to create the pencil stroke shading which I thought looked really cool.

Blake may have been the most ruthless, Jon may have been the most powerful, Adrian may have been the most intelligent, Laurie may have been the most attractive & dan may have been the most normal, but in the end…it was Walter who was most human.

Love this

Wow this was pretty good I like the darkness of it all it's very good detail and love that lighting from the back but I think that lighting from the back should be much brighter and shine much more with a massive glow of sorts it will accent the main focus much more just an idea to try out

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
More lighting from background

~X~

The trademark character of the most villanous superhero movie to ever have been made. :) It's on a level beyond Deadpool, really. Not as crude in dialog and action, but with so much more depth and darkness to the main character. You capture the tone nicely, though the background light feels a bit... light!

LeviLord004 responds:

I intentionally attempted to brighten up the background a bit due to the heavy shading that Rorshach has on his person. When the drawing was finished I turned the light on and off to see which looked better, and to me at least, it made him pop a bit. It could probably use some toning back, but it just separated him from the background which was all the light is there for, so it did its job. :P Thank you for your comment. :)
