Is there any backstory to that creature, or is it just something more or less random that you decided to make?

This is a concept art for my graduation game. TPS survival horror on Unreal Engine 4 (i hope). Story of a girl running away from her family that get sucked into a lake, and wakes up in a fucked up place. (still undefined but some nightmarish shit). She must collect the lost parts of a fish with strange powers. (Evil force buried in a spiritual prison, this kind of stuff) Simple and catchy when done ( again i hope.....)
