just some character art, here's the backstory

a tropical island has recently been shaken up pretty badly by a horrible virus-type thing. the only person with a possible cure is a nearly-dead voodoo witch - thus, she employs these two to traverse the land and deliver her magic potions to all who request it

here they're seen in a scuffle with incarnations of the virus itself, who try to sabotage the potion delivery as it could eventually lead to the end of their kind.
