COW 82: Shakisha

When the shelter topic was brought up for the creature of the week I first thought of the old story of the World being on the back of a giant turtle. I was unsure if I could copy the exact concept so I altered the idea a little and turned the turtle in to a Lapras/Dragon/Swimming thingy. I tossed some mountains on the back of the poor bastard and set it out against the sinking sun. The castle parts are there because I thought the rocks were a little bare and lonely.

Back Story:
Over 200 years ago, the starving people of Langley and a defeated army plotted to escape the tyranny of their cruel king Lightersus. Sadly the people had no way to escape for in front of them the kings Ivory gates lined with best archers in the land would bring down any one who even came close to the gates, And to their backs the almost as cruel and unforgiving sea.
As the people sorrowed as if a gift from the 7 gods, a creature arose from the sea, both fierce and wild. The Rasha has appeared. The CreatureâEUTMs white shark like scales shimmering in the yellow sun and dark rock like stones covering its back. The people realized that this could be the home they were looking for. But how to tame such a crazed beast they discussed. The Scouts watched the creature thrash about as if in pain. Soon it settled after 3 days and 2 nights and left the bay. The peopleâEUTMs hearts sank. Upon investigating the site where the Rasha had been they discovered an egg laid by the creature. They built a fence and to contain the already creature once it hatched.
Upon birth the pitiful thing was 300 meters long and 150 meters wide and given the village elders name Shakisha. From birth it was reared and trained not to dive more than ¾ of its entire body, leaving the mountains exposed at all times to keep from drowning the people within two years the creature was trained and itâEUTMs back transformed in to a livable habitat for the people and they took off on to the sea to become the famous moving village.

Fantastic

I really like this one, I enjoy the originality of it. Only the thought of a settlement on the back of an animal that has a rather twisted look is kind of scary :3

Kinsei responds:

thanks man, I tried my best to make something innovative.

wow.

pretty cool lookin, but needs to be a bit bigger.

Kinsei responds:

Bigger how?
as in the creature needs to look more massive?
I could probably do that by adding some landmasses in the distance and up close to give a feel of it being bigger.
